Bafang BBSHD adapter for Pressfit BB92, with triangular mounting plate

The Bafang BBS motors fit with bottom bracket diameters of 33 mm. An adapter is required for larger bottom bracket diameters (e.g. Pressfit BB92). This adapter fits Pressfit BB92 bottom brackets. This reduces the diameter from approx. 41 mm to 33 mm (suitable for the Bafang BBS motor axle).

Further features:

• Locking triangle ring design ensures that the screw connection does not rotate
• ideal for carbon frames, as these cannot be crushed with the original Triangle

Sleeve dimensions without triangle:

• Sleeve length to stop: 90.0 mm
• Total length: 93.4 mm
• Outer diameter: 40.9 mm/44.3 mm (stop)
• Inner diameter: 33.5 mm

The triangle has a thickness of approx. 4.5 mm

For the adapter, the BBSHD must be used with a 90 or 100 mm axle. With a 100 mm axle, the axle must be filled with 8 mm washers/spacers, as the press-fit bearings are 92 mm (or less) and are therefore too short to reach the thread.

BB86, PF41 or other bearing standards can also be used, the sleeve must then be shortened accordingly. The sleeve should ideally be glued in with epoxy so that the motor with the adapter does not slip downwards; alternatively, a screw connection can also be used for aluminum frames.
