Bafang BBS Firmware Update

This update can be used to reset the controller. This can be particularly helpful in the case of phantom errors – such as Error 12, Current Sensor Abnormality. With the 52V update of the Bafang BBSHD motor, it is also compatible with fully charged 52V batteries (58.8V final charging voltage). This fixes the error code 07 “High Voltage Protection”. In addition, the maximum amperage of the Bafang BBSHD mid-motor has been increased from 28A to 30A.

Important: It is essential to ensure that the correct update for the controller is used – otherwise this can cause irreparable damage to the controller. In this case, the only solution is to replace the controller.

The programming cable is required to install the update. Included in the scope of delivery (by e-mail) are
