As there are many different bikes, you should keep these 2 things in mind:
– What is the bottom bracket width of your bike? -> You can find out how to measure this in the respective configurator and also HERE.
– Which bottom bracket does your bike have? -> If your bottom bracket width is approx. 90 mm or more, then it is very likely that you have pressfit bearings installed. If this is the case, then you will need our pressfit adapter for Bafang motors, as the bottom bracket diameter of the frame is larger than the diameter of the motor axle. You can also find the adapter in the configurator. With the CYC Photon motor, the matching BB92 adapter shells are already included when you select the BB92 variant. The easiest way to determine the diameter is to remove the bottom bracket beforehand and then simply measure it. You can also send us a photo of your bottom bracket if you are not sure.
For the use of these drive units on public roads and paths, the applicable regulations of your country must be observed and the settings on the motor with regard to maximum power and speed must be made accordingly. The user is responsible for complying with these regulations. Otherwise, this product may only be used on private and secured terrain! Furthermore, it must be ensured before installation that the bike and its components are designed for this power. This is the sole responsibility of the user.
