Turn your bike into a snow bike

With the S-Trax Snowbike conversion set, you can turn your existing bike into a snowbike: simply remove both wheels and attach a ski at the front and the track at the rear. This conversion kit is fitted to an electrified bicycle (e-bike) with a mid-motor . The only condition: This set must not be installed on bikes with carbon frames. The front ski module is suitable for bikes with installation widths of 100-150 mm , the caterpillar module can be fitted to frames with installation widths of 130 – 200 mm . It can also be used with both quick-release and thru-axles. If you are not sure whether your bike is compatible, please feel free to contact us.
The caterpillar module is equipped with an Enviolo hub gear (gear ratio 0.5-1.9), which can also be shifted under load. The chainrings have been selected so that speeds of 7 km/h to 15-20 km/h are possible. The size of the bicycle chainring can further influence the speed. Thanks to the brake disk mounted on the drive sprocket of the caterpillar, you can stop the caterpillar completely by applying the brake. Please note that this is a mechanical and not a hydraulic disc brake.
The scope of delivery includes:
- Ski module with skis (l=110 cm)
- Caterpillar module
- Gear hub Enviolo Extreme
- Brake disk with brake caliper, Bowden cable and brake lever
- Optionally available: mid-motor set (not included in the price)

For transportation reasons, the conversion kit is supplied as a kit and must be assembled after delivery in accordance with the instructions sent by e-mail. For use on a commercially available e-bike / pedelec, please note that the speed signal required for operation must be detected on the track (the rear tire is removed by the conversion).
In addition, the tire circumference in the display should be changed to the actual value (depending on where the speed sensor is mounted, this is approx. 65 cm at the guide roller) so that the displayed speed and distance covered are correct. If this is not possible, it will still work, but the motor will stop much earlier (as the wheel circumference is incorrect).
When using an aftermarket motor, the actual tire circumference can be changed to the correct value for the distance covered. This means that both the displayed speed and the distance traveled are correct. Extension cables can also be used on the Speedsenor.
The system is currently designed for use on hardtail bikes. If you want to mount the conversion kit on a fully, an additional chain tensioner is required for the bicycle chain (not included). Please also note that both the gears and the brakes of the bike must be removed during the conversion.
