The right chainring for the new CYC Photon retrofit motor
The chainrings are available in the sizes 34T, 38T, 42T and 50T and are equipped with the Narrow-Wide design. This means that the bicycle chain holds better on the teeth of the chainring. The cover is also included. The corresponding tool, which is already included with the motor, is required for installation.
Outer diameter of the chainring incl. teeth:
- 34T (34 teeth): approx. 144 mm
- 38T (38 teeth): approx. 160 mm
- 42T (42 teeth): approx. 185 mm
- 50T (50 teeth): approx. 210 mm
The chainring offset or the respective size (diameter) can be seen in this template.
We have the new version of the 34T chainring, where the cover can be unscrewed and the chainguard is thicker and more stable than its predecessor. You can find more details in this video (from 2:55):
