CYC X1 Pro Stock brake sensor

This brake sensor for hydraulic brakes consists of a switch with magnet and is compatible with CYC X1 Pro motors that use the stock controller (not suitable for BAC controllers). When the brake is applied, the motor assistance is stopped immediately. The cable length is approx. 50 cm.

The sensor is mounted on the brake housing, the magnet on the brake lever. This should move away from the brake housing when the brake lever is actuated. The normal distance at rest is only a few millimeters; fine adjustment is required. Depending on the brake, a tolerance should also be taken into account – because the levers will give way slightly if the brake pads are worn.

If the magnet is not nearby or is lost, the motor will not work and the sensor must be unplugged from the main wiring harness. The sensor is attached with hot glue and can also be secured with cable ties. The scope of delivery includes 2 brake sensors and 2 magnets.
