Bafang BBS01 BBS02 nylon gear

Reduction gear with pressed-in bearings, original product of the Bafang BBS01 and BBS02. For version B.

It is made of nylon to reduce noise. However, it is more susceptible if excessive forces are applied and there is no crank movement at the same time (brake, wrong gear, etc.). This nylon gear wheel is located on the Pinion gear and is driven by the rotor shaft.

When replacing this gearwheel, it should be sufficiently greased with Mobilgrease 28 (and also at regular intervals – see blog).
