I love my old bicycle now more than before – and this photon motor is the reason. Installation was easy and now I have a powerful ebike. Even on longer rides, the motor has held up with no issues. I highly recommend this cyc photon to anyone who wants to have a high-performance ebike.

I am delighted with this new photon motor conversion kit for my Cannondale mtb. This modern motor design is superb and complements my bike very well. I love the lightweight and power of this motor.
The kit was easy to install – only the battery rail should have been supplied with XT90 connector (maybe next time). I also ordered the fasterbikes-battery decals. I highly recommend this conversion kit for anyone looking for a high-performing and great looking ebike.

Ik heb de Photon-motor in mijn Gazelle-fiets geïnstalleerd en ik ben helemaal enthousiast over het prettige rijgevoel. De ondersteuning komt precies waar ik het nodig heb en bovendien met de juiste kracht. Ik had niet verwacht dat het zo goed zou werken. Ik heb de motor gekocht vanwege de positieve beoordelingen – nu moet ik er zelf een schrijven. Het is een genoegen om ermee te rijden. Bedankt aan fasterbikes voor de betrouwbare levering en de geweldige ondersteuning. Deze jongens zorgen echt voor de klant, zelfs na de aankoop. Ga zo door!!!

IMPORTANT

Does the motor fit my bike?

Note the following 2 points to ensure that the motor fits your bike:

Bottom bracket width
As this motor is available for different bottom bracket widths, you should measure this on your bike beforehand and select it accordingly above. To do this, we recommend turning the bike over and measuring the frame width at the bottom bracket. In the picture on the right you can see the bottom bracket from below. The remaining frame width is measured (68 mm in the picture).
Bottom bracket diameter
The motor axle has a diameter of 33.4 mm and is installed in place of the bottom bracket. If your bottom bracket width is more than 75 mm, it is possible that the diameter of your bottom bracket is larger (press-fit bearing). Check here whether you have installed a press-fit bearing. If you are not sure – just give us a call, send us a photo of your bike or send us an e-mail (welcome@fasterbikes.eu) and we will help you! We recommend that you remove the bottom bracket so that you can easily measure the diameter:
- Result: 33/34 mm – BSA bottom bracket with thread
- Result: 41/42 mm – BB92 bottom bracket without thread

For the use of this drive unit on public roads and paths, the applicable regulations of your country must be observed and the settings on the motor with regard to maximum power and speed must be made accordingly. The user is responsible for complying with these regulations. Otherwise, this product may only be used on private and secured terrain!
