Bottom bracket wrench for Octalink, ISIS, square

For removing the bottom bracket in Octalink, ISIS, square standard. Only required for removing the original bottom bracket from your bike, not for the Bafang motor. However, this nut is also required for mounting the Gen2 CYC motor – for tightening on the axle.

Note left and right-hand threads! Loosen clockwise on the drive/chainring side and counterclockwise on the left/other side.

With Octalink, a pin usually has to be inserted as the extractor pin goes into the axle without being supported. A screw can also be used which is relatively flat and the head is larger than the inner diameter (but smaller than the recess).
