This socket is required for installing the Bafang BBS01/02/HD motor. It tightens the second locking ring to 25-30 Nm. It can also be used to remove a Hollowtech bottom bracket.

This nut is required for mounting the Bafang BBS01, BBS02 and BBSHD mid-motor. It is used to tighten the 2nd circlip with approx. 25-30 Nm (1/2″ torque ratchet). We also recommend the use of blue Loctite on the thread.

Can also be used to dismantle Shimano HollowTech, SRAM and other other BSA screw bearings. The nut is made of steel.
