The Cycle Analyst calculates and displays the following information:
- Voltage, watt, ampere
- Ampere-hours, watt-hours
- Speed, distance traveled, time
- Regeneration, Wh/km
- Peak currents, voltage drop
- Battery cycles
In addition, the Cycle Analyst is capable of overriding the user’s throttle and regulating the power delivered to the motor, turning an otherwise dumb e-bike into a smart device with user-programmable speed and current limiting and low voltage cut-off.

- Speed limit: This has the advantage that the speed limit for e-bikes applicable in most countries can be adhered to. When used at full throttle, it acts as cruise control for the e-bike. It can also be beneficial for riders who want to increase their torque and power by using a higher voltage battery without increasing their top speed at the same time.
- Current limiting: Adjustable current limiting is useful to prevent damage to the battery from excessive current draw, increase range on a charge and protect the motor controller and motor in configurations that draw too many amps.
- Voltage cut-off: An undervoltage cut-off is used to protect a battery pack from discharging too low, which can lead to cell reversal in NiMH/NiCad batteries, permanent cell damage in lithium batteries and sulphation in lead-acid batteries. The programmable undervoltage reset makes it possible to set a suitable undervoltage point that is tailored to the battery.

In this version with speed sensor, the direct plug connector is not possible with a Hall sensor input on the motor, as the input is only soldered to the speed magnetic sensor on the CA board.
