Chainrings for the CYC X1 mid-motor - incl. cover made of aluminum or carbon
The chainring is only compatible with the freewheel 1.0 and consists of 3 parts: Aluminum or carbon cover (select above), drive chainring and bicycle chainring. There are also 3 options to choose from – all have the narrow-wide design:
- 11/53T with 32T chainring (fits X1 Pro and X1 Stealth)
- 11/63T with 38T chainring (fits X1 Pro and X1 Stealth)
- 11/72T with 42T chainring (only fits X1 Pro)
Meaning of the information:
For example, 11/53T (= transmission ratio of the drive chain motor sprocket/drive chainring) with 32T (= chainring of the bicycle chain with 32 teeth, this chainring has the narrow-wide design and can be replaced by any standard chainring with 104 mm bolt circle).
Smaller chainrings are well suited for uphill riding, larger ones for higher speeds. Commercially available standard chainrings with a 104 mm bolt circle can be fitted to all chainrings. A suitable pulley can also be used.

– 11/63T, 38T: weight: 400g, outer diameter: cover 165 mm, inner chainring 160 mm
– 12/72T, 42T: weight: 500g, outer diameter: cover 190 mm, inner chainring 170 mm
When fitting, ensure that the wide teeth are positioned on the outer chain links and the narrow teeth on the inner links. If a chainring size (or cover) is not visible, it is currently not available. The freewheel 1.0 and the golden drive chain are not included.

Die neuen Cover sind zwar jene aus Alu, aber mir persönlich gefallen die Carboncover doch besser. Hab mir zudem ein weiteres Kettenblatt eines anderen Herstellers gekauft – das lässt sich hier ja problemlos montieren. Hat cyc gut gemacht …. daher 10 Sterne von mir.
