The biggest innovation compared to the previous Gen3 version is the new and powerful X12 controller. The following improvements have also been made:

The CYC X1 Pro Gen4 motor is available for the following bottom brackets (select above):
- BSA 68-83 mm
- BB92 mm (incl. adapter)

The X12 controller is connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth. After installing the new CYC Motor App, you can adjust the motor parameters conveniently and without cables. The download area contains numerous useful links and downloads (installation, operating instructions, printouts, etc.).
Controller:
The new X12 controller is much more powerful than the X6 controller. It also allows the use of 20S batteries (72V nominal voltage). We have compared the two controllers in the following table:

Smartphone App:
With the new X-Controllers, you can unleash the full potential of the CYC motor: instant torque and power, stable off-road performance, responsive throttle response and refined pedal assistance. With the CYC Ride Control smartphone app (available in the App and Playstore), you have all the options at your fingertips. Simply pair your smartphone with the controller via Bluetooth and you have the freedom to ride the way you want.
A 72V (20S) battery should be used in order to utilize the maximum power. It is essential to ensure that the battery is sufficiently designed. The CYC X1 Pro Gen4 can also be operated with the 14S batteries available from us and thus with 58.8V – the maximum output here is approx. 2000W. We recommend that you use batteries with a high discharge current rate for the individual cells (e.g. Samsung 30Q or Sony VTC) so that the required amperes can be drawn from the battery. You are welcome to contact us – we can also manufacture a battery according to your specifications (up to 52V/14S). If you need a 20S/72V battery, simply contact a battery manufacturer directly.
