This should move away from the brake housing when actuated (see video below). The normal distance at rest is only a few millimeters, fine adjustment is required. Depending on the brake, a tolerance should also be taken into account &#8211; because the levers will give way slightly if the brake pads are worn.<\/p>\n<p>If the magnet is not nearby or is lost, the motor will not work and the sensor must be unplugged from the main wiring harness. The sensor should be attached with hot glue, it can also be secured with cable ties. The price is only valid for one side, the shape of the magnets may vary.<\/p>\n<p>Some brakes have short cable guides and make installation difficult, e.g. Magura or Hayes Stroker.
