This should move away from the brake housing when the brake lever is actuated. The normal distance at rest is only a few millimeters; fine adjustment is required. Depending on the brake, a tolerance should also be taken into account &#8211; because the levers will give way slightly if the brake pads are worn.<\/p>\n<p>If the magnet is not nearby or is lost, the motor will not work and the sensor must be unplugged from the main wiring harness. The sensor is attached with hot glue and can also be secured with cable ties. The scope of delivery includes 2 brake sensors and 2 magnets.<\/p>\n<p>An alternative to this <strong>brake sensor<\/strong> is the use of the <a class=\"btn btn-default\" title=\"Magura-mt5e\" href=\"https:\/\/fasterbikes.eu\/en\/shop\/accessories\/sensors\/magura-mt5e-disc-brake-for-bafang-cyc-with-without-brake-disk\/\">Magura MT5e<\/a> hydraulic disc brake.
