This results in a rotating ring instead of a rotating shaft, as is the case with many other motors, such as the Bafang BBS motors. This design not only ensures more efficient power transmission, but also<strong> better cooling and therefore a longer service life.<\/strong>   <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another advantage of the Photon motor is the <strong>use of steel gears<\/strong>. While many other manufacturers rely on plastic or POM gears, CYC MOTOR deliberately opted for steel to increase the durability and service life of the motor. The crank arms are mounted to it on both sides. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Final Stage Part:<\/strong> This part includes the gearbox, bearings, one-way clutch and torque sensor module. The torque sensor module consists of a stationary and a rotating part. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Controller:<\/strong> The controller is the brain of the e-bike system. It controls the firmware and processes all signals, including the speed sensor, torque sensor and batteries. It is connected to the motor core and the torque sensor via pins.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>Motor core:<\/strong> The motor core contains the rotating and stationary parts of the motor and is set in motion by current signals.<\/li>\n<li><strong>First stage part:<\/strong> This component connects the motor core to the final stage part and contains a freewheel clutch that eliminates pedal resistance when riding without motor assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;How does the Photon Motor work?&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221; woodmart_inline=&#8221;no&#8221; text_larger=&#8221;no&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The heart of the Photon motor is its <strong>torque sensor<\/strong>. When pedaling, the rotating part of this sensor moves, the signals of which are recorded by the stationary part and forwarded to the controller. The controller activates the motor core, which then transmits the rotation via the first stage part to the final stage gearbox. This is where the chainring is mounted, which ultimately transmits the power to the bicycle chain.   <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A particular highlight of the Photon motor is the ability to <strong>ride<\/strong> with almost <strong>no resistance<\/strong> without motor assistance.
