The video below shows the necessary steps. It is generally advisable to grease the gears sufficiently. This has a positive effect on their service life &#8211; and the engine also runs more quietly. The 2nd step in the video (filing the housing) is only necessary if you are using the 40T chainring <strong>WITHOUT a spacer<\/strong>. This would cause the chainring to grind on the motor. This product is also linked below. However, these steps are not necessary here, as it only replaces the plastic cover of the motor.
