Retrofit brake sensors for CYC and Bafang Motors

This ebrake sensor is a reed switch with magnet, it is plug and play compatible with the CYC and Bafang BBS01/02/HD Motors. The motor will cut off, when the brakes are activated and is recommended for security. It´s also helpful when shifting gears, activate the brake sensor for a short cutoff - and the gears will jump in easier.

Cable length: 50 cm

The device can be easily fixed to the underside of either hydraulic brake levers, or also mechanical brake levers, using a double sided tape or better hot glue, combined with cable ties. The Magnet is fixed to the moving brake lever and the sensor appropriately located on the stationary mounting bracket.

This version of the Ebrake Sensor is sold plug and play for the CYC ebike system. The sensor is sold as a pair. The form of the magnets can be different.

The brake lever should move away from the brake housing, some brakes have short angles and make a installation difficult, e.g. Magura or Hayes Stroker. The Magura MT5e (closer version) has its own sensor and can be considered if you intend to change the brake system.

Unbedingt bei starken Motoren verwenden!!

Ich finde diese Sensoren bei den starken motoren von cyc sehr wichtig. Stufe 3, kurzer Druck aufs Pedal und der Motor gibt volle Power aus dem Stand. Da helfen dann nur diese Sensoren, dass der Motor sofort gestoppt wird. Ich empfehle wirklich jedem, Bremssensoren zu verwenden.
