For a noise reduction it is made of nylon. For this reason, it is more vulnerabile if excessive forces act and at the same time no crank movement takes place (brake, wrong gear, etc.).
The gear should be sufficiently greased with Mobilgrease 28 (as well as at regular intervals - see our blog post).

Not working with BBS01 or BBS02.
unmount the controller
remove the silicone
and all the rubber sealings
open the screws of the stator side and remove it
open up the 3 screws with force and pressure, use the right bit and a power drill
insert 3x M5 screws to lift up the plate
replace the nylon gear and grease it well. Replace also the gaskets, if they are damaged
Clean the old silicone, insert the rubber seals or replace them.
