Cooling for Hub Motors
The original Statorade by ebikes.ca is used. You have to seal the motor afterwards. Togheter with a syringe
The ferrofluid provides a better transfer of heat to the engine housing and the heat can be transported away better. You can find more information here
This offer isn't for the 100 ml bottle in the pictures, but for 10 ml.
How to
Remove screws from side cover
Mark the position, the side covers are factory-aligned
Release circlip
Use a old brake disc and lift the cover with a puller. Alternatively, 2 tire levers can be used, thread them laterally on the lid
The side covers should be sealed with a heat-resistant sealant to keep the fluid in at higher revs
Reassemble at the marking and tight it 5-6 Nm, opposite screws evenly from all sides. Reinstall circlip.
mark, lift the drive side with an old sprocket
Fill the Statorade, the magnets pull the liquid to the right place. Join cover to marking, attach sealant and screw back. Finished
